The Emphysema COPD Research Center is a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program focused on understanding COPD and development of new innovative treatments and therapies. Our team consists of influential physician scientists & clinicians, clinical research coordinators, pulmonary physiology technologists, regulatory coordinator, center administrator, and database administrator. We collaborate with other basic, translational, and clinical science researchers within the University of Pittsburgh, and with other national and international scientists. We are supported by multiple funding sources including federal, state and foundation grants and participate in industry sponsored clinical trials.
