Dr. Frank Sciurba is a Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he directs the Emphysema COPD Research Center and the Clinical Pulmonary physiology laboratories and pulmonary rehabilitation program. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Sciurba's research is driven by the clinical issues faced by his patients, and he has published over 300 peer-reviewed papers on lung physiology and COPD.
